Pelican 1730 case is one of Pelican’s larger cases
and can be used to transport just about anything.
There is plenty of room in this case for heavy

The Pelican 1730 case is made from a lightweight,
copolymer material that is super strong. Pelican
gave the outside of this case heavy duty ribs to
help with strength. It has a rubber fold down handle
and built in large wheels for extra strength when
moving the case. Case has thick outer walls, which
can take sharp jolts and abusive handling without
breaking. Case is crushproof and does not dent. So
if a heavy object falls on it or bangs into it there
are no worries. Case won’t pit or chip either and
the sun won’t fade it. Your case is scratch
resistant. Dirt, mud, and other substances wash off
easily.
The Pelican 1730 case is dustproof and waterproof.
It has a special purge valve that allows air to flow
evenly in and out but not water or other
contaminants. A Neoprene o-ring seal keeps this case
waterproof. This case stays waterproof even in 30
feet of water.
The Pelican 1730 case is stackable. It has special
grooves on its lid and ribs on the bottom that fit
the grooves so they can be stacked together. This
makes multiple cases easy to move into shipping
containers. It has 7 heavy-duty latches which are
strategically placed around the case at its’
pressure points. They help insure a tight, secure
seal.
The Pelican 1730 comes with your choice of flat
foam, pick and pluck foam or custom foam. So no
matter what you are putting inside, you can be sure
that the foam you choose will protect it. Foam also
keeps your equipment stationary so it won’t smack
against the sides of the case and be scratched.
The military uses this case and has given it their

Protection and Air Transportation Association
